Air India Credit Card error
So yesterday, I booked a one way ticket on Air India successfully with a credit card (SFO -> BOM). Just minutes after booking, I realized that the tickets are much cheaper if I do a multi-city trip (SFO -> BOM, BLR -> SFO). So I cancelled the original ticket (within the 24 hours window for free cancellation). Then tried to book the multi-city ticket but airindia.com is not letting me book the ticket. I get "The payment failed because of invalid credit card details, authorization error or insufficient funds.". Has anyone faced this issue in the past and gotten around it? I would really like to use this card to meet the minimum spend for the new card sign up bonus + it gives me better rewards. Thanks!

Contact your credit card issuer to check your limit or whether they have blocked your card for suspicious activity.

I faced a similar issue booking on another airline recently. Booked one ticket for myself which went through without any problem. About an hour later I tried to book another ticket on the same flight for a colleague but the same card kept getting declined. The bank blamed it on the airline website while the airline blamed it on the bank. I eventually had to use another card.
