Dog on Runway
 

A dog on the runway at Goa Dabolim airport caused havoc for passengers on a Vistara flight from Bengaluru. After being warned about the presence of the dog, the Vistara pilot made the decision to return to the flight's point of origin, even though two IndiGo flights managed to land at Dabolim in the interim. The Vistara aircraft eventually made a return to Goa and landed successfully.

At first, airport authorities in Goa assumed the dog was a stray. However, after an examination of the animal's boarding pass, it was determined that the dog was booked on a flight with an Indian ultra low-cost carrier. He had heard that ULCC flights had a very short turnaround time and wanted to make sure he didn't miss his departure.
