indigo transit at BKK
Does Indigo have a presence at BKK transit? I am arriving on EVA at 23:30 and leaving on 6E at 02:40 on a separate ticket. I'd rather not enter Thailand given the 3 hour transit. US passport, OCI, no bags.

Transited in BKK late last year on my way to SIN. I don't remember seeing Indigo in the transit area. Granted I wasn't specifically looking for them but my guess would be that they would not have any presence there.

I think you'd have better luck posting this in the Destination - Asia - Bangkok forum.
Also, I thought these SE Asian airports had multi airline supporting agents in the transit areas.

Not for low cost carriers. I can speak for SIN (to a certain extent KUL), where I have not seen any transit support for LCC.

However, **maybe** you could show your indigo eticket to the CIQ folks and maybe they'd let you through to print your bp at the gate. I really doubt this is going to work unless you can print your indigo BP before arrival at BKK. Even then, there's a high likelihood that the language barrier will make it easier for them to point you to immigration than hear you out.
BKK is mostly O/D traffic and thus has super weak connection services. So I'd expect to have to enter and exit Thailand. If you have a few weeks before flying and you are originating from the US and are a trusted traveler, you can get the APEC business travel card which entitles you to fast track immigration which is generally super speedy. Otherwise consider a premium cabin ticket as they will also entitle you to fast track. Let us know how it goes!

Update: I just returned from my trip and as most said, Indigo was not listed on the transfer screens at BKK (neither was Spicejet) and indeed, I had to go landside to check in. Fortunately, the entry and exit immigrations were fast and I spent just over an hour in Thailand.
Thanks. I do have Global Entry, so will look into the APEC business travel card.
