AI Fare rule interpretation help DRTILIN
 

Hi,
I would appreciate help interpreting this AI fare rule fare basis DRTILIN attached below - it is different than what I see, and the website also says "changeable with restrictions", although the title of the fare is flex.
1) Can I change dates of flights freely without fees, provided D class is available? Even after first flight taken? (International flights only)
2) Is it fully refundable (it says CHECK CATEGORY 16 OR CONTACT CARRIER FOR DETAILS.)?
3) On days where there is no direct flight on AI, will another routing via AI and then another *A carrier be allowed? (routing rules below) I don't know what "MERG/33 PUBLISHED ROUTING 0215 " means

I am asking because some sectors are nearly fully booked, but the dates for return/stopover are not yet decided, so I want to book and then probably change return/stopovers.

Key is the 'penalties' section. It clearly say changes permitted. If it would cost, that section would say 'changes against a charge of xxx USD' or if not flexible, it would say 'changes not permitted'.

AI rules are confusing & I've often come across a situation where one section says one thing & another contradicts that with something different. This is carrying on from the government AI days & Tata has yet to change them.

Just to be sure I would call & then try to get written confirmation regarding the clear interpretation of the fare rules so that you don't face a problem later.
