Jet + Delta -> DEL - SEA with AMS stopover - Baggage

Hello,
Looking to buy a ticket thru jet airways website for following routing
DEL - AMS (stopover)
AMS - SEA
SEA - AMS (stopover)
AMS - DEL..
So basically India to US with stopover in Europe.

Jet website seems to show 1 pc /23kgs for this route thought its not very clear too. Is the baggage allowance 1 pc due to stopover in Ams ?
In another place it writes "For journeys(s) to / from USA, Jet Airways will honour the baggage policy of the first marketing airline irrespective of the validating airline." and here Jet is the marketing airline.

Q1 - If I buy excess baggage thru Jet which seems to be $100 for the 2nd bag, is it applicable for the whole journey or only 1 leg ?
Q2 - I don't see an option to buy excess baggage online while booking the ticket. Do I need to book ticket and then call them to buy this?

Advise appreciated. Thanks.

excess baggage charges are typically per leg but jet would be able to confirm....

also, you don't have the option to buy excess luggage during the booking process if one or more flights are operated by a partner airline....

Thanks for the info.

Update - Did not need to buy excess baggage as Jet allows 2pcs the whole route even with a stopover. I was apprehensive, so booked a ticket thru their site (which could be cancelled free of cost within 24 hrs ) and ticket clearly showed 2pcs.

Yes, you do have 2 pieces allowed. I used the app I created (INWEIGH) to verify that for your itinerary. Glad your issue is resolved for now...in future if you need you can use this app (see links below)

Thanks, good to know this site.
India to US is mostly always 2pcs, issue got hazy as there was a stopover in Europe and airline changes there.
