At this point the creditors should just sell any remaining planes and assets and sell the name and the certificate for whatever they can get. It is becoming obvious Jet 2.0 is not going anywhere.

Saudias expansion plan must include traffic to/from India to fill their longhaul. Same as GF/EK/QR/EY. Good luck.

It's disappointing that the Jet Airways revival is going nowhere. Jet had a great reputation for in-flight service and quality. Now, not only is Jet not coming back, but the other airline that came closest to Jet's level of quality--Vistara--is being submerged in Air India. There will be a significant gap in the marketplace.

Now, not only is Jet not coming back, but the other airline that came closest to Jet's level of quality--Vistara--is being submerged in Air India. There will be a significant gap in the marketplace.
However, I disagree, UK has certainly filled 9Ws shoes well. What the future holds... who knows - maybe a improved AI or maybe UK turns to garbage.

9W went under for a reason: they didn't know how to deal with the new market after Indigo came in and kicked their behind in the domestics. Longhaul they were too small and inefficient.
The Jalan Kalrock show was a farce. They were/are after the assets to cash out and couldn't raise any money in the market. Akasa showed everyone how easy it is to start with a clean sheet.

JKC is now promising to cough up 100 cr each in late August and September, and requested the CoC to use the 150 cr bank guarantee for the remaining dues. The CoC says the dues on 7800 cr in 2019 have now grown to 12000 and the cost of maintaining the 11 aircraft has eaten up whatever little money they had...
