there are tons of reasons to avoid ai but thankfully i have never come across this in the dozens of international flights i take with them every year....

Bugs are a big issue with all travel providers. Airline seats stay free of bugs when you change covers every 90 hours of operation. Hotel beds if the mattress is turned at intervals.
