Changing to earlier same-day Vistara flight Indian domestic

I have a PNQ-DEL flight on vistara. early afternoon. They have two flights a day on this route. Any chance of doing a "same day change" for the early morning flight? Both flights rather empty and no problem paying a change fee

Unfortunately it is a BA ticket as part of a BA itinerary (but don't want to change fee that whole BA ticket as that will be enormous)

Any input on chances of same day change on domestic vistara (none flex ticket)?

(On AA usually done for a fee, BA forget it, CX PVG-HKG done freely...)

Unfortunately the earlier flights is 6 hours before and nothing in between so doubt this will help (but it would have been a perfect solution!)

get to the airport early & they will allow you to change your flight....unfortunately they will also charge the fare difference along with the change fee....

I don't mind fare change if reasonable. But it is a BA ticket of which this short segment is but a minor part.

@seaskybound: Attempting to do this on a BA ticket would be hugely risky. I doubt Vistara will be able to change a BA itinerary. I think this scheme is only for Vistara issued tickets.

Separately: This 4 hour rule from Vistara seems to be fairly silly. Assuming you have to reach their counters 4 hours early... then the earlier plane to take you to your destination must be leaving 3 hours prior to your original flight. How many routes are Vistara serving today with flights departing every 3 hours?

Also here are 2 contradicting points in there T&C:
  • Customers are not allowed to re-route their flight. They can only prepone or postpone their flight for booked sector.
  • This facility is not applicable for postponing of flights.

Agree with Piper. I think this facility is mostly intended for the DEL-BOM-DEL "shuttle".
