Why no new BOM routes for AIr India recently?

I've noticed most of their expansion recently has been in DEL. Why no new routes from BOM, their second largest hub?

i guess there is more demand for del than there is for bom....also, it probably makes sense to try one route first to see how it does before expanding to another one....

Well I believe BOM is far bigger base, so I would expect them to expand more there than in MAA.

BOM has got several longhaul's while MAA got none

Maybe because connectivity to domestic routes is better from Delhi? Just a guess.

I agree and understand that, the problem I have is I have a lot of regional (intra Asia) travel in business class and most regional business class flights from BLR are not flat bed. I have to either fly recliner or go via DEL and both are bad options.
