Amazon is out of question as they don't accept Diners. (In fact they are notorious not to cede to Diners in every country they operate in)

It's also accepting on India site as well.
I am thinking that you are trying to add new card in My Account. It won't show Diners Club.

Instead try adding a new card while placing an order and its accepting the card.

I'm not able to use my card on Amazon India, unlike others on this thread. It takes me to the page where you put in your CVV number, and when I enter my CVV and hit Submit, it errors out and refreshes the page.

I got Regular Diners card initially for transferring points to Aeroplan. Due to the change in conversion partners I have kept this at the back of my wallet. While investigating the HDFC Bank site to convert this card to another card product, tumbled on the Diners flight booking site and seems this is far better option than converting the points to miles. Further, value proposition is far better than other mileage based cards.

This is going to be my primary card going forward.
Let me know your experience in redeeming the diner points for flights.

Thanks.

It could be a trivial question, but I do not know the answer:

Does an uber ride outside India (in US) count as a 10X transaction? I am using the same app with my HDFC Diners card, but when I receive the message for deduction from bank, the merchant name is "UBER TECHNOLOGIES INC", whereas in India it is "UBER617**" (some number).

The 10x program has been extended until 30th October 2017 but some serious devaluations.

For starters all travel partners have been removed and maximum rewards points are capped to 25k for Diners Black.
