9W domestic Premiere baggage allowance

Hello all - a question regarding baggage allowance on 9W domestic Premiere...

I'll need a BOM-DEL flight and see the allowance is 30kg with no status in Premiere. Can this be split across two checked bags? Or is it limited to one bag only?

My assumption is that it's the latter and excess charges would apply for a second checked bag, but thought I'd see if anybody here has any experience.

The primary reason is I'm doing a BA open-jaw LHR-BOM//DEL-LHR and have a very generous allowance on the international flights so wanted to be sure of what I should and shouldn't plan for on those based on what will be the more restrictive 9W domestic allowance.

I did search but some odd API error pops up on my phone(!) and recent similar enquiries are just that. Similar, but I couldn't see anything asking and answering this particular question.

Hello,
For Indian domestic flights, the total luggage allowance counts.
The number of checked bags never matters as long as it is within the allowed limit.
You can have 6 bags totalling 29 kgs and it would still be legal.

jet is pretty lenient with luggage allowance for people traveling in première....i've personally carried a little more than i was allowed & they have allowed it several times....but this was a few years ago & i used to take over 100 flights with jet per year....don't know if that fact helped....either way, you can check in as many bags as you want to make up the 30kg allowance....
