BOM-NAG return trip

Hi FT community,
Trying to book a BOM-NAG return trip on Nov 24th and Dec 11th return. What's the cheapest option in Economy? Either points or $$ are fine.
Have enough Amex MR points and Chase UR.
Here's what I'vve tried so far:

I got an email from Jet Airways saying 25-50% off if booked from Oct 2nd to Oct 6th for flights after Nov 5th.
http://m.jetairways.com/JetMobileApp...SpecialOffers4

Sounds perfect for my situation, except no way to redeem, no promotion code or guidance on how to use it! When I login to Jetprivilege and try to book via the "Book Now" link in the promotional email, the ticket price is just normal price - same as what any other site is showing. Does anyone know how to use that Diwali offer.

Also, tried using ANA and SQ sites to try to use MR points on Air India since it's a *A partner but no go - NAG is not even in their drop-down menu of destinations to select!

So the best option I have is just a regular priced Jet Konnect flights which is coming out to around Rs 3900- Rs 4000. Not bad, but I might be missing something.

Book it on a 3rd party OTA, like GoIbibo or Yatra.
GoIbibo has JetKonnect flights @ ~3500 for your dates.

I checked and it shows ~3500 on the first page but when I select it, it goes to the same ~3900 which is what the Jet Airways site does too. Seems that's the best option. Do you know if I enter my United MP number when booking, I'll earn MP miles? Based on your signature, it seems it may be better to fly AI instead!

This sounds like the best option. It's a very short hop and you really can't go wrong with any of the airlines running this route.

However if you do want a premium cabin then Jet might be your only option as AI is mostly running all Y planes on this route.

To be honest, I have a very limited knowledge about UA FFP earning ratio on 9W. So, I can't answer that for you. But, with AI now being a *A member, I believe, *most* lower classes earn about 50% miles on UA FFP. Check the UA website.

My prefrence for AI over 9W, is due to:
1. My personal experience with AI being better than 9W.
2. 9W operates JetKonnect flights on majority of the sectors I frequent.
3. As I am based at BOM, with majority 9W-S2 domestic flights operating from T1B, the lack of lounge in the terminal leads to 'Buy-on-Board' of crappy stuff. With AI from T1A, plenty of lounge options for me!

Like AVNEESHJ points out, BOM-NAG route is hardly 90 minutes. It wouldn't really matter, which airline you fly.

AI (except on Sun), 9W, IndiGo fly twice daily and there's a single GoAir flight as well.

i agree....its too short a flight so any airline would do....but if the op is looking for ua miles then ai would be the best option....
