Qatar interested in 6E?
QF CEO akbar al bakar says he is interested to pick up a stake in 6E.. Qatar was interested in an Indian airline company but wonder how things will work given the differences in their business models..:confused:

IIRC, it wasn't just QR, even AF-KL was looking for code-share tie-up.

While One World may be far off, I hope 6E start some sort of loyalty program (perhaps revenue based, like DL and South West). Given their coverage to the stations I frequent, I would prefer them over 9W may be!

Wow - what great intentions. Im sure hundreds of others (me included) and not just Baker/Qatar would be "interested" to pick up stake in 6E "if available" - and if priced reasonably i may add.

from my experience in deal making, those who want to make deals don't talk about it, they just do it quietly. Al Baker was famous for denying that QR was going to join ow till it really did. this is empty talk.
