Indigo Flight 6E031 passengers --- Idiots!
If you were able to see this picture in slow motion, you will see at least five people jumping out with their laptop cases, purses, and other carry-ons. It's hard to see because most people bring their knees up when jumping out of the aircraft. But you can see one person holding his suit-coat in his hands followed by several people holding bags by the handle or their shoulder straps. STUPID!!
The plane must not have been too full. Had it been a real fire, the last in the line could have been killed because those who were first thought their carry-ons were so important. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5J9RMxfdHTs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=55Nm19O1iW0 |
there were 173 passengers which means it was close to being full...

Don't get me started. On a recent 9W HYD-BOM, captain missed the landing spot, so stopped to take stock. The aisle was full in seconds and bins were open. One clown even pushed and shoved from god knows how far back to move all the way to the front (I was in row 5).
Even a moron would have known that the aircraft was not parked. The plane went around for almost 6-8 minutes before it returned to the spot and parked. Lucky I had my BP meds handy. |
If you think India is bad, you should look at domestic flights in China - especially if they aren't from major cities like PEK/PVG/SHA.
On a flight from SZX to XMN, people were getting up and accessing overhead bins as the plane was touching down. |
