Using Air India Upgrade voucher
I have an Air India upgrade voucher which expires in June. Can someone please guide me regarding the procedure to utilise the voucher. Can it be done at the airport or does one have to visit the city office? If the upgrade can be done at the airport, then what is the procedure?

it can be done both at the city office as well as at the airport....
if you opt for getting the upgrade at the airport then just give them the voucher during check in & if there is space available then you will get the upgrade.... |

If its SBI upgrade voucher, it can be easily done at the airport check-in counter. Staff may not be familiar with this, and my require to make few calls. So give at least 30 mins.
To make the most of it, I suggest you chose a Dreamliner (787) sector. Best value would be in routes like BLR-DEL or MAA-DEL which are 2.30 hr duration. You could sleep for an hour or so in flat beds. |

I have an upgrade voucher that expires in second week of Nov and a scheduled travel plan on AI in last week of Nov. Anyone had any success in getting the upgrade done at city office instead of the check-in counter. Or is it possible extend the voucher validity by 2 weeks?
