Increase in online upgrade fee

Seems jet has increased it from INR 2k (around 2 months back) to 3k now. I regularly used to upgrade myself on BOM-BLR-BOM sector by paying 2100 (inc. taxes), but 3k seems a bit too much for a 1.5 hr flight.. Today, I was also offered upgrade on DEL-PAT flight but did not opt for it..

i usually do it with award tickets....if you see availability in business then just book economy & call them up to upgrade you....they will hold your booking in business for a period of 24 hours & you can pay the upgrade fee either at the city office or at the airport....

alternatively you can try your luck at the airport as well....ask them if there is availability & if there is then just pay the upgrade fee....

Thanks Keyser... silly question... How do you see availability..? If it refelects a price/miles in Premier column ? or you can see number of seats available..

What if I have a revenue ticket, can I still upgrade at this price or then I have to shell out miles ?

I meant online upgrade on revenue tickets, not on award tickets. A lot of times, I see this option flashing in Manage my Booking, for the BOM-BLR and BLR-BOM sectors that I fly often. Earlier it used to be INR 2000 per sector, but now it is 3000.

no clue about that....i've stopped spending my own money on jet revenue tickets....when i fly for work then the client pays & its always in business so i've never seen the upgrade option....
