Hi All

Not sure if a thread already exists for such requests. I am flying to Zurich via BRU in Jan on Jet airways and plan to upgrade using vouchers. 3 vouchers are required for upgrade on this route but I have 2 with me. So will be thankful if someone can help me with one upgrade voucher.

I can return it back once I receive my new set of vouchers post my tier renewal (will be down to gold from plat) in Jan (will get the vouchers by Jan end).

Such requests are typically posted in the Coupon Connection forum (to which you don't have access yet, due to your limited post count).

While Coupon Connection seems to be majorly US focused (and I can see why IbA related posts might not get any response there, hence posting here), I am of the opinion that the same conditions required to post in the Coupon Connection forum must be upheld by the mods when allowing posts that are similar in nature to what would otherwise be found in Coupon Connection.

keep in mind though that if you have not met the gold requirement then you will not get the vouchers even though you tier will fall from plat to gold....

I should be able to meet the gold requirement, but on another note, is it again a new rule by jet. I have seen the full cycle from Blue to Plat to Silver, and last time around, I got Gold vouchers when I came down to gold from plat, even though as per criteria I did not qualify for gold. So will Jet send me a silver voucher if I meet that criteria, but retain my status as gold. That sounds strange to me.

Anyhow, for the purpose of my request, I will still have one silver voucher in the worst case which I can return. :). And I guess there is no difference is usability of gold vs. silver voucher.

not sure when the rule came into effect but its been around for a couple of years i think....i know a number of people in my firm who lost their plat status but only those who achieved the gold criteria were given the 3 vouchers, even though their status was downgraded to gold....

one of my colleagues was plat but only took a handful of flights last year....he didn't even make the silver criteria & his tier was downgraded to gold but he never got any vouchers....
