Taking the flight tomorrow and curious.

Since its the same flight number and the halt at TRV is just 45 minutes, its most likely that the flight will depart BLR from the international terminal, where you would need to complete passport control process.

At TRV, the domestic pax will de-plane, while the others will stay back in the same aircraft and continue onwards to MLE.

You may still want to confirm this info with AI on their toll-free number.

Good Luck ^

AI 265 single-cabin...?

Looks like AI 265 BLR-MLE is changing to single-cabin configuration. At the same time, I see that AI 263 MAA-TRV-MLE is changing to two-cabin configuration. Are these planned changes or something that I can't count on to stick?

We were booked on AI MLE-BLR in April 2015 when it was reduced frequency (to less # of days weekly) and we were involuntarily downgraded out of business. The two class aircraft was still operated on MLE-BLR then, just not on our date of travel.

We were swapped into AI MLE-TRV-MAA which was a single class of service aircraft.

It seems like they are still playing around with it now (to the exact opposite of what was offered in April) so it doesn't seem to me like it would be something that you could count on with a high degree of certainty.

Thanks for the quick response. I was able to swap DEL-BLR-MLE to DEL-MAA-MLE to regain business class itinerary. But, looks like this is going to be a crapshoot. Oh well.
