Indigo airlines

I have not lived in India for 4 years and was wondering why Indigo is dominating the aviation market ?

was does it do that other airlines do not?!

anyways their growth rate is crazy, they are going to receive 28 new planes in 2013-14 , they are going to have more than 100 aircraft by 2015!!!

considering the fact that low cost airlines are going to dominate the market why aren't alliances courting Indigo etc

I for one would love to see Indigo in Oneworld (really clean planes!!!!)

The purpose of an alliance is to increase revenue, at the expense of higher costs. This flies directly against 6E's business model.

On time performance combined with good service for lcc and low expectations make Indigo the best airline in India.
