Domestic 9W departures in BOM T2

Hi All,

Not being very familiar with the T2 terminal at BOM (and considering the 9W's imminent move to T2 for all its domestic ops), I'm keen to know which lounge will 9W Platinum members will have access to, for domestic and international departures respectively?

Thanks,
Zenith

The T2 domestic lounge was really nice, but its rather small. I can see it being really full once 9W joins AI & UK in T2D. If it remains the only lounge in that section. They also have PPass access and for cash (1499 for adults, 749 for kids <12yr)

Could someone passing through CCU, update the lounge there.. im fairly certain they have just one lounge in the Domestic Section now and One in the International Section..

On the international side, I believe Travel Club is the only lounge.. almost all airlines which use the terminal use that lounge for their business class passengers.. plus passengers with credit card affiliation can also use it..

The domestic terminal at Chennai airport now has a new lounge called The Copper Chimney. The existing TFS lounge seems to be for Amex card and Priority Pass holders only.

CCU also has a copper chimney. It was rather empty as all domestic airlines were using the TFS.

Any one who had been recently to DEL T3 International Plaza Premium Lounge?

What's the situation with Food / Liqueur during day time when the traffic is less.

Self Service or paid bar?

Decent spread of food and liqueur all day long.

And as long as you are on an international flight, alcohol is free.

Also technically neither paid nor self service, but there is a bartender to help pour and mix drinks for you.

Is the Air India lounge at T3- International side accessible to domestic passenger (with D boarding card) having *Gold status? Logically it should, but with AI would not take a chance. Thanks in advance!

CCU DOM Lounge Expansion

Good news for all CCU DOM travellers. The Travel Club Lounge in CCU has expanded their operations. In a weird way, but any way is good because the lounge had become incredibly congested.

I've never been a fan of the open air lounge at CCU mainly because they could not air condition it properly and when it got crowded (happened a lot!) it got very very humid and stuffy. The food is generally decent and they have a live counter for eggs, dosa etc. so high scores there.

The lounge has done a few business minded things which had me pleasantly surprised - 1. They've targeted every possible type of lounge entry program in the world. Including several that I haven't heard of. I've never seen such a long list of lounge entry programs at the door of a lounge! 2. They've started actively pushing alcohol (paid) more by extending the bar. I'm all for lounges getting being aggressive about revenue as long as they're doing it without cutting customer experience or better doing it and using revenues to enhance customer experience. So kudos. Also, they've swapped the soft drink cans for a fountain machine - which has me cheesed because now I can't get my Coke Zero! Minus 200 points.

So the weird way they've expanded (due to space constraints) is that they've taken over a large part of the Copper Chimney restaurant. The problem though was that the Copper Chimney kitchen was just beside the TCL. So now you have TCL - Copper Chimney kitchen & 1 row of seats - TCL again. Now they will have to keep tabs on Copper Chimney guests to make sure they're not sneaking into the TCL area. The old Copper Chimney seating area was a nice large space with decent seating. So it looks like TCL have done well for themselves here. Just get back the diet soft drinks now!
