9W Customer Service
Hi everyone,
What is the best way to speak to someone from Jet Airways customer services? I am based in the UK, so called the UK office number as per the website. The person I spoke to was quite rude, and talked over me as I tried to explain an issue I was having with an interlined ticket (a Jet Airways scheduling change putting me under MCT in Mumbai). She hung up on me when I asked to speak to a supervisor. I know there are good and bad customer service reps everywhere, but I was wondering if there was a better channel to speak to someone who would be willing to help as I don't want to wait on hold for another 20 minutes to speak the same person as above. Any help is much appreciated! |
try and try again till lambs become lions!
you can always try the India numbers... 39893333 in any major city.. but the JetChild here is no better! |
unfortunately you have no other option in london....call again at a different time so that you can speak with another agent....
if you come across the same agent & she is rude again then make note of her name & the time you called....you may want to file a complaint if this is the way she is interacting with customers.... |
It's like pulling teeth with these characters at the Jet call center nowadays...
I had to explain myself at least 3x to get them to understand what I wanted, as the agent didn't even realize what the other department was doing! |
Schizophrenic idiots, these JetChildren!!!
No clue, cannot communicate, cannot understand - it's a lost case - even robots would be better than them... |

We all have our good and bad days. I've had some average, some poor, and a couple of outstanding 9W phone agents. Including one agent who proactively called me back the next day to tell me that I class had opened up on the earlier flight, and whether I still wanted it. |

International is a bit better than these domestic characters...who haven't been trained *at all*.
But, sent a mail to redemption team and got a call back in 30 mins, providing details and availability. |
Kinda OT (but not really) :
So did I read Jet's email correctly, or did my brain malfunction (again)? • JetPrivilege members / guests may avail Through check-in with separate tickets: (a) When one is an Award and the other a Revenue ticket, issued ONLY on Jet Airways (9W) and JetKonnect (9W / S2) (b) When both are Award tickets, either for travel on Jet Airways or JetKonnect flights and vice-versa • JetPrivilege members / guests will NOT be permitted Through check-in with separate tickets: (a) When holding a Revenue ticket for travel on Jet Airways / JetKonnect along with another separate JetPrivilege Award ticket issued for travel on another carrier or vice-versa (b) When a member or guest is holding two separate Revenue tickets Then they also go on to tell us that "The partnership with BuythePrice.com has been discontinued effective October 1, 2012. JetPrivilege members will not earn JPMiles from October 1, 2012. We regret the inconvenience caused. " Of course, they tell us this on 12 November. JetIdiots. |

So on 2 freebie tickets, they will go out of their Way and through check you in but when doing theo same with 2 tickets paid with cold hard cash, they will NOT through check you in.
Somebody shoot me because I really do not understand JetLogic. What would be the harm in keeping it simple and saying they will check you in so long as both are Jet/Konnect flights, so long as the time between flights is at least 90 minutes (or whatever timeframe they want). |
