I've booked 2 flights so far using EY miles.
You search for 9W award space on 9W's (or DL's) website first and then call EY to issue the ticket. EY can see same availability.
A point to note though, you can't book a 9W flight within 14 days of departure if using EY miles.

Haven't redeemed for indirect sectors though, but have a feeling they'd charge per sector. Happy to be proven wrong in this case though!

Will give it a try and update here on what happens when I try to book BLR-GOA on 9W, using EY miles. Though eventually I won't go through with it- dont think the wife will enjoy a hopping flight for what is supposed to be a 1 hour direct flight (I was under the impression that 9W had a direct flight, infact I have flown it once.. but not anymore it seems)..

Now I also need to think of how to use EY miles before expiring :(

How do you select seats on JetAirways?

I saw our confirmed booking with everything in place for a simple AMS-YYZ in business, but there is no where to select seat, despite I went from Seat Selection (under the main tab Extra), all it took me was to the same static page where the only thing I could do was to add travelers' details (and that did NOT stick despite saved initially - when I got back all the travel doc info was gone) and Contact Details.

No Seat Selection could be done online for AA award booking?

I never did a jet only booking with AA but always as a part of an international itinerary.

Have you flown the new AMS-YYZ route? This route was flown with an A330 in 2016 but now it is a B777. The seat information is very scanty. Apparently the B777 is the older, Herringbone style (may be these are the planes Ethiad released?). I wonder the bulk head window seat is OK or not - the Jet's site shows there is a small corner space between the seat divider and the partition (between F and J).

The A330 seat looks like the seat used by AZ and IB. Both we have flown and know what to expect. But last time we flew a Herringbone was on Virgin Atlantic a rather old plane 2 years ago and an NZ even more years ago. The NZ version was much nicer than the VS version even it was many years older.

Planning a Leh trip and searching for award space on 9w but it seems that absolutely zero seats are allotted both for Y & J. I found this really bizarre.

Is it becuase d miles required is only 5k and tickets start from INR 10k.

If possible can anyone please help look up at other platforms:

I had booked 4 return tickets last year for DEL -> IXL sector for travel in Jun 2017.

I am trying to look for business class seats on Mumbai -> Paris sector, but it seems jet isn't releasing any business class seats on this sector. I have tried checking for feb 2018 as well but all seats are shown as sold. Has jet recently changed the strategy to release business class seats on this sector. Earlier usually 4 seats were available
