Front row seats on Indigo

hello all
was planning to book couple of seats on Indigo. Couple of question........Would seats 1 DEF be a good option ? how is the pre-booked meal ? also does Indigo have a frequent flyer programme ? cheers

Haven't flown Indigo too often so I'm not sure but their emergency exit seats have good legroom, I'm guessing 1DEF should be the same/equivalent.

Indigo's food is great, never been disappointed so far.

And no, Indigo does not have a frequent flyer programme.

For row 1 you will hv to buy indigo plus....it is not a hot meal on indigo but a cold meal like a sandwich plus soft drink etc. no ffp as Anish said before.

thanks A2A...yes, found that out while booking the seats today....was a little concerned as parents were travelling.....meal does not look like a very good option but then its linked with seat allotment....looks a 50-50 option.

Atleast you got a meal. On jet Konnect they ran out of meals by the time they reached me. (I don't eat veg, but still)

Recently flew indigo seated in 1a.

No real difference. Felt slightly more roomier.

Big bonus was that you sit right in front of the in flight lead and her second in charge.

Luckily for me, they were both a pretty sight and they both were insistent that I purchase something from the in flight menu....even called me by name whilst totally ignoring my neighbour....made me smile.

But I'm not that stupid to buy for the sake of buying....I am confidently blasé so I just insisted that the only thing I wanted was their phone number....worked like a treat.

I have been in the front row and it has slightly more leg room, plus no one reclining into you. The exit row also has more room, but there are age restrictions (if your parents are 60 or older they cannot sit in the exit row---I don't know if this is unique to India or unique to Indigo). You have to pay extra for early seat assignment, but it is worth it.
