I have the pin but it has been very surprising being asked for it. And generally people have been asking for it where it is very difficult for me to enter it, eg. Movie hall ticket counter. I don't mind sharing my pin but it just felt very weird.

Hi, Free tricket (upto 1500/-basefare) on 1lakh spend still valid on Premiermiles card ? I received one sometime back, not sure why? I thought they stopped giving free tickets.

Also, is it better for me to switch to Visa version of PM ? I have Mastercard version issued in feb 2012. I also have HDFC JP World Mastercard.

I've been using Premier Miles for a year. As far as I remember, the deal was that if my spends were above a certain amount(Rs.1.5 lakhs), the renewal fee(Rs.5k at the time) would be waived off. My spends did cross the said limit, but I still got charged 5000 miles. I called customer service and they told me no such fee-waiving clause existed and asked me where I had seen it.
Have any of you had a similar experience? They seem to keep changing the T&Cs at their convenience.

I have honestly lost track of what our fees are.

I switched over from the JP Platinum card so do I pay anything on PM card? Weren't we given a free card?

BTW I am loving this card ^ 250k Avios so far since we switched over. Just been to Europe from UK for 15k & £30 return. Bargain.

Interesting to note that the 10x on Amex Makemytrip is no longer there. Seems post the Jet Card, all other Amex benefits for a Plat Reserve are going away

Yep.

Use Avios to fly in the neighbourhood too... Pretty good availability and points/cash requirements for Cathay (and MH, UL etc, I presume).
