Do we really have to resort to Skyping them??

What's their Skype name then?

Anyway, how does one figure this out, without Skyping??

(I'm pretty sure I'm not going to be one of the winners, but) Is that the only way to find out? Texting or calling to ask?

That's a really poor showing... The least they can do is send a text to say "Congratulations, you're one of our lucky few" blablabla.

Congratulations! 25000 Bonus Miles have
been credited to your account!

Thank you for participating in the Double your Miles campaign for our PremierMiles credit cardholders.

We are happy to inform you that your card number ending with XXXX has been credited with 25000 Bonus Miles on 11th Feb 2013.

Looking forward to bring you more exciting offers this new year.
Currently out of India, so can't SMS the number to check actual balance. But the email is certainly good news!!!

I don't know about everyone else, but the rates to redeem flights are pretty ridculous!

348,000 PM miles for a one-way biz ticket to EWR??!

Insanity, pure insanity!

Edited to Add:

My e-mail states: "2499x Bonus PremierMiles credited to your account".

So, why are some of us getting the reduced miles? Are we lower on the spend list?

I guess we'll need like 14 of these promos to even get 1 x one-way biz ticket!

(Didn't even expect it - putting most of my spend on the other cards...)

Well, direct redemption has always been hopeless (even after adjusting for the miles earned since it's technically a revenue ticket), so no surprises there. You're far better of transferring to an airline's FFP first, and PM is great for that in my opinion.

As for the reduced miles, who knows, Maybe there was a clause of some kind that I don't remember reading.

I didn't expect the bonus either, but I'll take it!

I'd like to move most of my fixed billing from American Express to Citibank (because the earning and redemption rate is much better) but the bill pay function that AmEx have is so nice, compared to Citibank's, which is almost primitive.
