I don't see anything to indicate that I 'signed' this petition. It's one thing to make snarky comments about grammar, as I did, it's another to think of this as a substantive matter.

I know FT is the world capital of obsessive-compulsiveness, but even so, this is a bit extreme. Standardization of the forum naming scheme is a reasonable thing.

I heard that West Bengal wants to rename itself to Paschimbanga so it won't be at the bottom of the alphabetized list of states. Maybe we could rename India to Bharat? or go a little further and call it Aarti Desh?

Does this mean that Emirates can now be moved to this forum? :D

its not the end of the world....the earlier name was definitely more convenient but there is nothing wrong with the current one....just let it be....there are more important things to worry about....

To do this, just go to the main AoI/I-bA page, click on 'Forum Tools' in the top right corner, then click subscribe from the dropdown menu. You will now see the forum under 'my flyertalk'

I thought the change was brought on by the dire state that Airlines of India are in, and this was a place holder for when this forum's name is changed to Indigo.:D
