kingfisher ticket refunds....
 

just thought it would be interesting to know if kingfisher is trying to get out of paying refunds for the flights they have cancelled....

i have cancelled 7 kingfisher tickets & have so far received refunds for 5 of those....2 are still pending despite me cancelling over a week ago....

anyone else out there waiting for a refund????

1-2 weeks is typically standard for receiving refunds. I think you still might have some hope. No bookings or can cancellations on IT for me.

I would go and give thanks for getting 5 of 7 refunds, my friend...

but those were the small refunds....totaling a little under inr 25k....the last 2 are the big ones....about inr 70k each....

For what it's worth, IT seem to be handling redemptions and refunds rather well, given their circumstances.

Yes, the flights may or may not operate and they might be empty anyway, making redemption easy, albeit risky. But compare with Jet...

I'm still waiting for a refund on a BKK-LHR-BKK flight. Over GBP700, cancelled nearly three months ago.

It was all done over the phone so my credit card company disputes division won't handle it.

I have a cancellation/refund reference but emails and phone calls are getting me nowhere.

Any advice?

their twitter team is pretty responsive (when they are around!). you might want to air your concern with them there. I've noticed they do come back faster there...
