BOM-SIN-BOM on 9W: What to expect

I am flying 9W on BOM-SIN-BOM route. Any idea on what to expect? Thanks in advance for all your help.

There are many threads on this sector, albeit a bit old.

Are you flying in economy or business?

However, since things may have changed recently (I'm sure they have, as domestic services/amenities have been cut) then others who have flown this sector within the past year can advise - I cannot - other than what I have already posted - more than a year ago!

Most of the cuts would apply to the business class product, so I'm also interested to hear this, as I have a couple sectors to fly soon...

I think you were referring to domestic, but let me list a few retorts/points (only been flying in the front cabin recently):

1. No salt/pepper.

2. Nothing enclosed in napkins any longer. (Mouth freshener, etc.)

3. No offer of coffee/tea on afternoon/morning flights. (Possibly due to the sector, but I flew afternoon/night once, then morning/night on another day)

4. Smaller glasses of water, and only water offered during meal/after meal, no coffee tea unless requested. (as per Point No. 3)

5. Crews not receptive to requests for anything extra, other than the main course. (Eg.: Fruit/fruit platters)

I'm not one of the VIP's that Jet facilitates, such as the characters who get their (small) luggage carried for them on board! :p

i haven't flown jet long haul for a while so i'll take your word for it....recently i've only taken international flight no longer than 4-5 hours so haven't noticed any real decline in service....
