I got this email today from kingfisher king club, not sure if its targeted or not. What do you think, is it a good opportunity to jump on or is it too risky with their current situation?

Here's a special deal, you will find hard to resist.
* Convert your loyalty points equivalent to 1,000 to 4,999 King Miles in one shot & earn 20% bonus King Miles
* Convert points equivalent to 5,000 to 9,999 King Miles in one shot and earn 25% bonus King Miles and 1 upgrade voucher
* Convert points equivalent to 10,000 King Miles in one shot (and then onwards in multiples of 10K) and earn 30% bonus King Miles + 2 upgrade vouchers + 1 One-way Kingfisher Class/Red domestic ticket free
* This offer ends on 31st March 2012.

All of us at Kingfisher truly value your business and the importance of King Miles to you. As you may already know, the King Miles you earn are valid for 3 years and can be redeemed anytime to avail free flights with us and with our partner airlines, upgrade to Kingfisher First and Lounge access.

I reassure you that your King Miles are absolutely secure and encourage you to continue earning and redeeming them for your favourite rewards with us.So think no more and grab this offer today.

It goes on to list their transfer partners and be signed by Anshu Satin, vp of guest loyalty and kingfisher holidays. Anyone else receive this too?

That is assuming they are still flying next month or even next week, and this does not cost you anything, this is a good offer. If I were you, I would use up the King miles on available flights before they shut down.

i got the same offer & so did everyone else in my family club so it doesn't seem to be targeted....but i would be extremely cautious about transferring any miles to kingfisher at the moment....

I would not touch King Miles or Kingfisher airlines with a barge pole.

I am preparing to write off my 53,000 King Miles.

It seems like too good of a deal to be true, assuming the miles stay alive it seems like it would be worth it just for the 30% bonus then to redeem on partner airlines

Malev and Spanair miles were very secure as well until the airlines shut down.
