Standby on Kingfisher

I have a flight on IT from DXB-DEL-BLR, however it looks like there is a non-stop DXB-BLR a few minutes later. Does IT allow one to standby? One more complication is that we are coming in on DL and will have bags checked in.

If you have bags checked in its a challenge - also what cabin you flying - DXB-BLR is an all eco service fyi

If its a DL ticket which includes a Kingfisher segment, ask DL if they'll rebook you onto the later flight

Of course, there is a good chance your flight will be canceled/delayed, in which case they will book you onto the direct flight at no penalty.
