i have considered this but the only problem here is that aa classifies their business class on this route as business/first & kingfisher required 3x miles for redemption on this route....:td::td:

will report on the upgrade experience later but i got them a return ticket from del-lhr on kingfisher first using 208k king miles & about inr 60k in taxes....then a return business bed on open skies from ory-ewr for 96k ba avios & inr 21k in taxes....they plan on staying in london for a few days before flying out to new york so they will take the eurostar between london - paris....

so the whole trip per person cost me 104k king miles, 48k ba avios & inr 40.5k in taxes....
