Kingfisher-Mastercard Query

Hey guys.. I'm planning to start saving up KF miles as I find myself traveling on IT more often than 9W thanks to their more convenient timings..

A couple of queries.. I have a HDFC World Mastercard, do they offer similar privileges as the ICICI World Mastercard?

Also I don't bank with ICICI but I don't mind creating an account to get their World card, any idea what their eligibility criteria is and how easily they approve cards?

Thanks!

welcome to ft anish....have you considered the amex kingfisher first card????it has the best benefits for someone traveling a lot on kingfisher....

Thanks Keyser.. I did consider the Amex card but I've heard their rejection rate is ridiculously high and so is the eligibility criteria..

Could anybody list out what the criteria is like? Thanks! :)

i believe the criteria is available on the amex site....

Nope.. I've looked around everywhere but couldn't find any info.

I guess I'll just called Amex tomorrow and check. Thanks a ton Keyser :)

last I checked the base criteria was

#offered in bom, del and blr
# salaried should have 6.25 L p.a.
# self employed, never bothered to check.

Agree the reject rate is high. but the benefits are good

ICICI KF Card

If you do not live in any of the cities, then KF-ICICI card is the next best choice.

for the Top Tier, (Master Card World Card), the eligibility is:

If Salaried, Salary per Month: Rs.1,15,000.00 (Not sure if this is Net or Gross).

Comes with 10K miles and 3 upgrade vouchers & Gold Tier for 1 Year.

Mastercard has partnered with KingFisher and offers a complimentary Silver membership on all World credit cards, including HDFC through 31 Dec 2011:

(Although the eligibility requires an internationally issued Mastercard, you can generate a Netsafe card and use that to book your international return flight and get a complimentary Gold membership upgrade!) ;)

)

So then the icici one is your best bet. Not too many cobranded cards in the country anyways with local airlines
