Both, as they are both night flights of 6-8 hours flight time.

Day flights will not get PJ's.

ALl night flights have PJ's with an extensive variety of sizes... day flights are only on request and they usually have limited sizes (left overs from the previous night sector)...
So if you are flying NYC-BRU-BOM, hang on to you PJ's from the previous sector...

DaddyRabbit Jan 28, 2011 10:46 am

PJs

Great!

Have a good time when you are here...India requires many visits to experience the full variety of culture/locations, and long ones at that! :)

I hang on to all of mine - wear them every night and also on LH...!! (LH F has horrible cotton-synthetic ones, with thin fabric bottoms)

njwoods13 Jan 28, 2011 11:34 am

We're staying in 16 different locations so want to pack extremely lightly, so will skip the PJs from home!

You'll have 2 sets each by the time you're back Stateside!

Perfect planning...

Keyser Jan 29, 2011 4:16 am

if you request them on the day flight then you will get it as well....

mp007 Jan 29, 2011 3:14 pm

Are you actually aware how PJ's look like? Those are not realy top fashion creations; but as long they are free... :D

Jet's are the most comfortable of most airlines - haven't tried SQ's yet, but since I'm boycotting them (as best possible), no need...

In terms of comfort, yes 9W are right up there. However, my personal favourite are the CX Shanghai Tang PJ's. Not only way more elegant, but i also find the full button down top much more convenient as compared to the over-the-head versions. Much simpler to change in cramped airline loos.

Of course CX only offers them in F! As far as J cabin PJ's go, 9W is an unquestionable winner compared to any carrier!

What is the fabric composition of these?

Do they have logo branding as does BA/LH (sometimes)/LX?

maybe 9W can be the 1st and give an option for the premier customer to give the size while doing OLCI .. they can do better inventory management then @:-);)

They already do this - if you buy your ticket 2 days ahead, I think. (At least in Premiere, Domestic)

However, BTK a la SQ is coming... (Let's see if they can pull that one off! :D)

It's bad enough that even on international segments they don't have the meal choice in biz halfway through the cabin!

(Oh, I forget - no need to worry as I'm on LH/LX nowadays anyway - eating the inedible LH food (in any class) :td:, and savoring the LX F meals, when I can get a seat up front! ^)

Yes, 9W offers in J a very comfortable seat, but the service is really poor for a long haul business product.

For example, about the matter of pajamas, on my last flight with them : they started giving them out by the rear of the cabin before take off. Captain called for take off so they stopped about halfway. You would have expected the crew to continue after take off ? No, they started working on the dinner. So only half the cabin was provided.

Ok, I didn't care for pj, but wanted at least eyeshades and ear plugs (no matter how comfortable are the seat, a plane is still noisy) and requested them : they hadn't any onboard....for a night flight ! The FA offered me a cotton towel that I could tear and roll in balls....how nice !

That's just an exemple but I find 9W service in general quite poor in every field...but still go for them for this very nice seat they offer. So bring your own earbuds and pj and enjoy a nice sleep :)

SuperFlyBoy Feb 22, 2011 4:53 am

I do agree that some crews really suck.

International I always make sure I either upgrade beforehand or use a good deal in C...

(But I fly LH international mostly anyway...)

A2A Feb 23, 2011 3:03 am

I picked up a set of the 'sleeping suit' on the BOM-SIN sector this morning. Pretty decent stuff. no branding! yay!
