New crockery on 9W domestic flights

Introducing stylish Rosenthal crockery on flights within India.

December 21, 2010 will be a date to remember in Indian aviation and in-flight service history as Jet Airways proudly ushers in a new era of in-flight dining and service delivery on board its domestic flights.

Proudly setting the highest standards ever seen in Indian skies, Jet Airways introduces delicious new menus dressed on iconic, world-renowned Rosenthal crockery in Première on flights between Mumbai and Delhi. All guests on these flights will get to savour a gourmet menu of delectable meals designed and prepared by the master chefs of the Oberoi Flight Kitchens.

Guests travelling Première will be served elegant four-course meals on stylish Rosenthal crockery thereby offering an unparalleled, luxurious dining experience that sets the standards for other airlines to emulate.

Guests in Economy Class will also be served scrumptious Indian and Continental meals on a trendy, new range of tableware known as “The Landscape”. It is a contemporary and fresh Dutch design which enhances the warmth of flying and dining onboard our flights.

While initially launching only on flights between Mumbai and Delhi, this innovative service will progressively be rolled out onto other prime routes as well.

We look forward to welcoming you on board our domestic flights and be a part of our all-new dining experience.

Flew del-blr in Premiere on Thursday and it was still old stuff. Both crockery and menus.

Flying blr-bom and del-blr-bom-del all in Premiere in the coming week, so looking forward to hopefully seeing the new offering!

Who in the right mind decided to use that particular design in an airline application is beyond me. Its delicate and ornate:

The copy says
It is a contemporary and fresh Dutch design
but the designer is spanish living in Italy and the company making it is German?
