AF to IT in BOM
 

I am headed to DEL due to serious family situation. I have to transfer to IT from AF in Bombay. AF arrival is at 11:55 pm and IT departure is at 6;05 a.m.
I am travelling in Biz. Which bucket does IT first class boo into?
What is th ecy=urrent mode pf transfer from international to domestic and vice versa in BOM. On my return I have to transfer from IT to DL in BOM.

Hi Yaatri, there's the inter terminal coach which should work just fine for you.

IT first books into the typical business fare buckets - J, C, D, I (see for example the fare buckets listed at http://www.qatarairways.com/privileg...-airlines.html)

if you don't want to wait for the transfer bus then you can just catch a cab....but they probably won't let you in to the airport before 3:30am or so....

So I can't get into the lounge too. Not sure if AF will issue be BP for IT when I check-in at IAD.

probably not....but even if they do, the security at the domestic airport won't let you in 3 hours before your flight....

I travelled last Sept. via the BOM domestic terminal and was able enter it in the wee hours, about 02:30 / 03AM... There wasn't any problem with the security permitting me to enter the airport way early for my 06:45 flight.

But, I am not to sure about the lounge access at that time of the day..!

actually you are right....the first flight of the day is around 5:30am so security will let you in 3 hours before that....

the lounge will also be open 3 hours before the first flight of the day....

at the Clipper lounge in BOM 1A terminal and 1B terminal, I have seen early morning pax schmooze to take their connections. However, the lounge starts F&B service at 6:30-7:00 AM onwards only...
