Seeking advice for booking a 1-way itinerary on WY: BOM-MCT-DXB-AAN, with the intent to ditch the last segment (operated by their shuttle bus ex DXB).
I wouldn't be in the delimma if their BOM-MCT-DXB fare was lower or even same as the BOM-AAN fare, but infact there's a difference of ~INR 7300.
This itinerary will be on a 1 way ticket, but I do have an FFP relationship with WY. Any pointers / advice is appreciated.

If challenged just say you are not feeling well and want to see a doctor. I doubt they will drag you into the shuttle bus.

Kolkata (CCU) to Portland (PDX) - Flights reco
Hello,
Thought of asking you some advise..I have a few flights coming up for self as follows :
1.Kolkata to Portland, US (Return)
2. Kolkata to Portland, US (One way)
Currently, I have some miles in Air India (AI), which is *A member (~ 55k miles).
I have options of using any airlines for these..
I was wondering if it makes more sense to accumulate miles on AI or whether considering that most of my future travels would originate in Portland / Seattle, you would recommend me joining some other Alliance or Airline partner ?
Cathay is another option with 2 stops I see from Kolkata (CCU) and join some OW ffp ?
What about Qatar (OW) ?
Or maybe Jet Airways / KLM (ST) ? Maybe would make sense to join some US airline ffp ??
All travels in economy
Looking at the above and considering most travels would be in Economy and aim is to get enough miles to enable a award ticket redemption (sooner or later), which airline would you recommend and why ?
Seek advise.
Thanks,

Question to the Chai stall: I finally have a HDFC debit card for my NRO account that explicitly says 'for use in India only'. Is it possible to buy tickets Europe-India on airindia.com using this debit card?
The final step says:
The final step says:
- The Credit Card used to purchase the ticket/s will have to be produced at the time of check-in. If the card holder is not a member of the travelling party, the travelling member should carry a photo copy of the card used (front and reverse) with the Credit Valid Verification (CVV) number blocked for security reasons and a signed letter from the credit card holder authorising the payment for the travel. The photo copy should also contain the name of the passenger, the date of journey and the sector on which the journey is made. The document needs to be presented for verification at the time of check in. Air India reserves the right to deny boarding if the conditions are not met. The details mentioned do not apply for Net Banking/direct debit.
- You are transacting on a website where the Merchant is based in India. In certain cases where the merchant is not based in the same country as the customer, your card issuing bank may charge an International Transaction Fee, over and above the transaction value. This fee is imposed by Visa/Master and passed on to the card holders by the card issuing bank. For more information you may please check with your bank on the clauses governing these additional foreign fees. This fee is in addition to your ticket fare charged and will be incorporated in your credit card statement. It is not charged or billed by Air India and hence will not be included in the Online Booking Confirmation email sent to you.

I would believe you can do the transaction.. and they would probably charge the fcy conversion fees during posting in INR which will usually be between 2-3.5% more than the conversion rate..
