Wrong Title in booking

Anyway know of the consequences of having a ticket title as Mr when the person travelling is a Mrs for a LHR-BOM flight on 9W?

I have spoken with the airline who have issued the ticket and they are saying that there should be no issues and a cancel and reissue is not necessary. They have updated the PNR with this. How ever Jet says that they can see this in the PNR abut will not be responsible "if" denied boarding.

Could there be any issues with immigration or customs?

Aha.. this has happenned with me multiple times BUT on domestic flights.. No one in security ever checks it IMO but am not sure about immigration though I doubt they will create a fuss about it if the bp has been issued by the airline and u are exiting the country..

Yeah immigration should be ok as at LHR they just briefly check the passport. Think I am more cautious about the airline.

I have had this scenario in multiple 9W flts domestically and there has never been a problem.. ofcourse it helps that the name was clearly a name for a female and they could make out its only a typo..

i agree with abhilife2001....i've lost count of the number of times they have put a wrong title in either my booking or my wife's booking....

fairly recently 9w put a 'mr' in my wife's booking on a flight from del-kul....she had no problems getting on board....i don't think anyone bothered to check....
