Virgin mulls bid for bankrupt U.S. airline
Got this in the daily email from Tripso ... I'm still hoping UA can get the A gates (and raze the G terminal), then again low fares out of IAD would be nice.

I thought Virgin America was already on its way in the Bay Area?

The last thing I read on Virgin America was they were going to announce very soon who were going to be the investors in the airline and file the paperwork to the FAA to get their flying license by the end of the year. Also they have an office in NYC.

blah blah, just like when America West bought hawaii pacific's certificate (and got their iata code HP). Indy will still bite the bucket. but maybe VirgAm will get the DH code.
