Flights to BOS now MUCH more expensive...

I just checked some flights to BOS from IAD. The same flight I've been flying in October is now $189 in November and December. That'a a big jump from the $49 they were charging.

Any idea why that BIG of a jump? Fuel?

Some flights are still $49 on the same day but the times don't work for me.

I just checked on ORBITZ and it seems that they still have either old schedules or old pricing or both.

The flights on FlyI.com don't line up with the flights on orbitz.

They've still got the $49 fares ($49 is the lowest and $189 is the highest in that market btw), I guess they have limited the cheap inventory. Or forgotten to allocate the cheap inventory.

Or maybe they've read some of the other FT threads in this forum and decided it is a good idea to charge a fare that covers costs...

Another snarky and pointless post.

Maybe, but he does raise a valid point. With the financial condition of FlyI, they really need to make sure they are doing everything possible to ensure their long term financial health. $50 fares just don't cut it.

Yeah, they're way up. I'm actually driving to BOS this weekend because for weeks I've been trying to find a cheap fare and it ain't happening.

I think that New England in the fall always gets a little higher (esp on weekends)...

Gotta go look at those leaves!
