Additional A319s on hold

http://yahoo.reuters.com/financeQuot...1547808_newsml

"Independence Air is still ordering 16 planes from an Airbus affiliate. However, instead of taking deliveries of six of the A319 jets next year, all the planes in the order will now be delivered between the second half 2007 and 2009."

Is this the beginning of the end? With the cost structure of the RJs, DH will continue to burn through cash unless they significantly raise fares. However, without the RJs, their long haul service becomes pretty much limited to ex-IAD service with limited connectivity... Is this just a brief postponement of the inevitable collapse?

Well they raised pretty much every single fare by $5 today, but that won't even come close to stopping the hemorrhaging.

whlinder,

Seems you have access to some pricing systems?

Cheers.
