Booking for October
 

Would you recommend booking an Independence Air flight for October, or is their financial situation too percarious? I've never flown them before and I don't know much about them, but they have both the cheapest fare ($238) and the most convenient times for a SEA-IAD trip I need to take.

Booking now for October is really, really early. But the price is decent and if you pay by credit card you'll be protected in case they can't fulfill their part of the contract.

I would expect more deals to come out after labor day for travel in October, and would personally wait until about 2 months out or book with a fare under $200 inc.

In general I wouldn't have a problem with booking in October, but as already said, you'll probably be able to find a better sale if you wait until late July or August. If you don't want to have to think about it again, then go ahead and book now and be happy with it.
