July Sign & Dine Bonus Bonanza!

Membership is free in this easy-to-use dining program where delicious meals are served with up to 5 American Airlines AAdvantage® bonus miles per dollar spent (tax and tip included!). There are thousands of participating restaurants nationwide so its easy to participate.

A $120 dinner earns you up to 600 AAdvantage miles!

A $65 brunch earns you up to 325 miles!

Plus, during the July Sign & Dine Bonus Bonanza, earn 1,500 bonus miles when you enroll online and dine at any participating restaurant by July 31, 2008! That’s 1,500 bonus miles on top of the miles you already earn as an AAdvantage Dining member.

This does seem to be a bonus promotion to join the program, as others sometimes do have for new members. Unless perhaps you can make elite and then register for the other promotion -- but there is no assurance that the promotion that required you to be elite or have an online profile by July 1 will "take."

Nevertheless, you should join AAdvantage Dining as it and SkyMiles dining have had the most lucrative bonuses this year.

Different Delta Bonus

Maybe the Delta dining folks decided to have different bonuses for different folks. I'm not a dining VIP for Delta and my "Good Fortune Bonus" is 2,000 miles but only for the first $100 of dining through 9/30/08.

"dl Feeling Grand Bonus"

There is a "Feeling Grand bonus" for those who DON'T have a DL program registered, which gives 1,000 miles for one >$25 dine by 10/31/08. I didn't find it until after I registered my card, but the page says "you are already registered for this bonus," so I'm going to give it a try.

It also requires a cumulative spend of $500. The increasing minimum spends on many of these bonuses are making them less and less attractive to those who get most of their activity from mid-week lunches.

I believe that's a $50 minimum per dine - kinda steep!
