I lost track of the extra two points per dollar AA bonus in November: rack me up another 2,658 miles, which posted today.

Considerably fewer miles than 2008, much like dstan shows, as RN is so parsimonious about miles this year and has so few promos. OTOH, I am enjoying some 1,000 point OpenTable restaurants nearby - and the $50 checks I get from them. It seems the only e-mails I get from AAdvantage Dining by Rewards Network are merely flogging "new" restaurants.
If Rewards Network comes up with some genuine promos or increases miles given, I might eat at RN restaurants more frequently. For 2010, I'd predict I'll earn less than 10,000 miles. Too many other ways to get "baksheesh" like Open Table combined with Amex Hilton HHonors Surpass and the like.

16,460 AAdvantage
A down year by half or so.
Lack of promos as others have said, but mainly reduced travel for obvious economic reasons and non-obvious personal reasons.
The +2 promo actually was good to me because we happened to have a 10-day vacation followed by a business trip in target-rich locations during that promo.

In the program for about 9 months
I racked up nearly 18,000 AAdvantage Miles via dining through the program (not counting the credit card miles) almost all around my home base in Austin. I anticipate more next year because the program has added in a number of new local places that look good.
Used some gift cards from nice restaurant near my work for gifts for staff at my job. If this was a low year for promos then I am looking forward to future years.
