Oneworld Ruby Baggage Allowance
 

Has anybody noticed that Oneworld Ruby members also receive an extra free checked bag? My daugther is just a BA Bronze but seems to have an extra checked bag allowance (along with me as a BA Silver).

Not sure if this also applies to HBO, since I booked Optima because I expected to be checking 2-3 bags...

FWIW, the Iberia website mentions the benefit for IB+ Plata but not as a Oneworld Ruby benefit. It makes me wonder whether there are other IB + / Iberia metal benefits that I could actually be taking advantage of with Oneworld status, such as lounge access for the whole family...

I'm not entirely sure but I believe it's only extended to BA members rather than all OW Ruby.
