Has anyone brought a bike with them to an IB flight?

Electric/eBikes not being allowed, even if the battery is removed and carried separately?
The IB Oro+ benefit of free sports equipment means the bike is free if it's within the standard free baggage (158cm total), and it'll count as part-total of the checked baggage allowance; or
The free sports equipment is in addition to the checked baggage allowances, as long as it's within the 131+72+21 cm for bikes; so even on a basic econ I can check 1 pcs + 1 bike?
For a foldable bike, as long as it's within the 56x40x25 then it's treated the same as any other hand carry (10kg max)? Need to do the whole tyres deflating thing?
Any special considerations if the flight were to be operated by Air Nostrum?

Price for checking a bike (no status) seems to be 40/50/120 eur/one way, sounds OK, although it's free (as part of check allowance) on BA for everyone
