Mixed class ticket - priority check-in?

I have an award ticket booked in economy for the shot-haul segment connecting to business for the long-haul segment. Will I be able to use priority check-in at the European airport even though that segment is in economy?

Thanks in advance!

You can try.

In my experience your boarding pass won't say "Priority Boarding" on it. You wouldn't have automatic access to fast track security either.

I can't imagine them really turning you away at priority check-in if you explain the situation.

But yes, I wouldn't even try with priority security.
