Schengen to schengen connection in MAD
I'm looking at booking SCQ-MAD-BOD in the evening with a 1-hour connection in MAD. Looking at the IB website, I see that the MCT is 45 minutes, so in theory my connection time is fine. That said, we're on the fence about adding this Bordeaux extension to our Spain trip (it's to see a concert) and if there's a 25% chance or so of missing the connection, we probably won't want the hassle and expense of doing this. Not that anyone here can predict the future and if flights are on time, but I'm still seeking input from folks with experience making these kind of connections in MAD.
FWIW, there's an IB flight from MAD-BOD at 7:25 the next day as a back-up that would get us to the concert in time and we likely will be traveling with hand baggage only.

Keep in mind that IB domestic schedules are heavily padded to ensure a high on time % rating for the rankings...

Well, these comments certainly make me feel better about this. I know the MAD-BOD is on Air Nostrum and those gates are at one end of T4--is there any pattern to the gates that IB Express uses?
