Am I safe booking 1:35 connect time?
Hi. I am booking air travel for my brother for May 2020 from SAL to FCO through MAD. He lives in El Salvador and has dual (US and ES) citizenship. He will be traveling on a US passport.
I can book him on IB3236 which gives him a layover of 1 hr 35 minutes in Madrid OR IB3238 with a 6:40 layover. Assuming he has carry-on luggage only, can I safely book him the former with the shorter layover? Thanks a million for your assistance. kathy |
Both flights on the same ticket? SAL-MAD-FCO
Or 2 separate tickets? If the same ticket it is the airlines problem If separate tickets its the travellers problem and his cost to buy a new ticket if needed |

I will be booking all flights on one ticket.
They would not sell if not within the connection time rules |
