Why canít I book DUS-LHR (Y) + LHR-PHX (F)?

availability is limited. DUS-LHR on BA metal is only available in Y, but LHR to PHX is available in F.

I try to price it, it says ďan error has OcurredĒ across any date I select.

Thoughts?

Because of the bloggers. IB's system was miscalculating YQ for these tickets, charging Economy YQ for the entire itinerary.

Can't be booked I'm afraid, even over the phone.

You can combine your Avios, assuming you're eligible, over to BA and book it from there - there's no benefit in booking via Iberia in this case anyway.

Booking on one ticket will also avoid you paying APD, saving a nice chunk of cash.

BAEC doesnīt allow mixed cabins. Maybe, if you select the stopover option, you can select mixed cabins. But never tried.

They do allow mixed cabins. Online, by selecting the stopover option, and over the phone simply by asking.
