In my opinion is very interesting because one ways are included.

I wouldn't say anything with 100% certainty about Iberia Plus. T&Cs are light on detail.

But it does look rather lucrative...

The snag, arguably, is the bit about 'promotional Avios being withdrawn on 1st December if not spent'.

Are these Avios going to be ring-fenced? Are they not transferable to BA?

I was interested in this aspect as well. I suspect they are not - but I think the question is what activity counts as "redemption" by the deadline, but I may brave a call to Iberia to find out! Even if they are, it seems they are not going to be restricted after the award by the language they use, so I guess you could wait to see if a redemption offer comes along in the autumn.

Just received an email about this interesting offer! What is the cheapest flight they run? PMI-MAD is 18eur - is there anything cheaper than that? Got to be worth a shot at that price, that you'll be able to convert them to BAEC

But of course I can't log into my account. Honestly it is the least reliable IT system I know. It only works around 10 percent of the time!!

By my reading you wouldn't even need to fly. The Ts&Cs only say they will be taken back if you "request a refund". If you no show you won't be getting a refund.

Also, if you book, have them deposited in 10 days, spend them before the flight date, then don't show what are they doing to do? Give you a -9k Avios balance?

Seems badly thought out to me.

I'm in for a cheeky £62 day return to Madrid in September, and a speculative £16 PMI to Madrid in November. Hopefully before the world and their spouse hits the deal and the T&C get tightened up. Which is basically inevitable here.

Yep, does seem very badly thought out to me to... PMI-MAD for £15.40 minus £3.53 topcashback (assuming that tracks correctly). I've got a feeling I might accidentally miss the flight :-)

So essentially £11.87 for 9000 avios deposited into my account in 10 days. Assuming it works and you can transfer to BAEC, then this is a steal and better than the Avis deal a year or two ago. Yes, I know there's large risk, but worth it for that amount IMO.

In fact, the Ts&Cs don't even contain the pretty standard text that they can withdraw or change the offer at any time!

Terms and conditions

Special offer of an extra 9,000 Avios for each ticket purchased between 21 and 24 June 2018 (maximum of 90,000 promotional Avios per member) on iberia.com for a flight operated by Iberia, Iberia Express or Air Nostrum. The Avios will be added within 10 days of the purchase to the Iberia Plus account of all customers identified as members of the Iberia Plus programme during the purchase process.

If the customer requests a refund, either because it is permitted by the fare or for any other reason, the promotional Avios will be withdrawn from their account. The extra promotional Avios not redeemed by 1 December 2018 will be withdrawn from the customer's account. The redemption terms and conditions are subject to the general terms and conditions of the Iberia Plus programme.

For example, if a customer purchases tickets on Iberia.com for three people to fly from Seville to Madrid and two of the people are identified as Iberia Plus members during the purchase process, 9,000 Avios will be credited to both of these people within 10 days of the purchase. These two people must have redeemed at least 9,000 Avios by 1 December 2018, or this same amount of Avios will be withdrawn from their account.
